Tulsi (Basil) Cleanliness Campaign
FSHF proposes the "Tulsi (Basil) Cleanliness Campaign" to revolutionize cleanliness, health, and environmental sustainability in rural communities across India.
Strategy: The project addresses the persistent issue of open defecation by leveraging the cultural and religious reverence for the Tulsi (Basil) plant. By planting Tulsi (Basil) every 50–100 meters along rural roads, the goal is to inspire behavioral change, enhance community health, and contribute to a cleaner, greener India.
SDG Alignment: SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 15 (Life on Land), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
