Animal Feed Campaign
The Animal Feed Campaign addresses the critical shortage of grass and fodder for animals in hilly, drought-prone areas, a problem leading to animal mortality. The initiative has an ingenious dual benefit: it collects the waste left behind by farmers to produce fodder for stray and domestic animals , thereby reducing farmer reliance on burning crop residue in the fields (stubble burning). Since 2021, the initiative has provided food to thousands of animals , with an impressive achievement of providing fodder to 100,000+ animals. The organization is also developing a bigger project to expand this work.
