Food Security / Hunger
During the crisis period of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, FSHF converted its resources (kitchens, stores, and vehicles) to provide immediate food relief to migrant workers and people in vulnerable communities. This included distributing both hot, nutritious cooked meals and dry rations. By March 15, 2021, the Foundation had served over 2,500 Cooked Meals, with a cumulative distribution of over 3,000 meals (cooked and dry rations) in the Rohtas district over that year. This effort was crucial in supporting daily wage workers who had lost their livelihoods during the crisis.
