Supporting Elderly Rights
The Supporting Elderly Rights initiative is a key component of the FSHF's Community Welfare mandate. Its primary function is to educate senior citizens about their legal rights and entitlements. This crucial activity ensures that the elderly in rural and marginalized communities are informed about and can access the social and financial benefits they are due, thereby promoting their dignity and independence. The impact of this program is substantial, with 7,000+ elderly educated about their rights. FSHF also supports this population through the distribution of clothes, food, and assistance in building homes.
