Establishing Mobile Health Units
The Fulminare Social Help Foundation (FSHF) is seeking ₹1,00,00,000 (₹1 Crore) to implement a 21-month project focused on delivering critical, timely healthcare to India's most remote and underserved regions. This initiative directly addresses the life-threatening delay in medical care experienced by millions who live 40-50 kilometers or 2-3 hours away from the nearest hospital.
The project aims to deploy a network of mobile and static healthcare services:
Mobile Health Units (MHUs): The budget covers the procurement of 10 units , fully equipped with essential medical supplies and manned by trained personnel. MHUs provide immediate first aid, basic healthcare, and stabilization of critical patients on-site.
Emergency Dispensaries: 5 Mini Dispensaries will be established in strategic locations to act as stable, first-response centers. These units are staffed with doctors, nurses, and paramedics to provide immediate care and act as triage centers.
Emergency Transportation: The MHUs and dedicated ambulances ensure critically ill patients are transported safely and quickly to tertiary hospitals for advanced treatment.
This transformative project directly aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by ensuring access to essential healthcare services in remote areas and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by providing equitable care to marginalized communities. By strengthening the rural healthcare infrastructure, this initiative is expected to significantly reduce preventable mortality rates and increase trust in the healthcare system among the most vulnerable populations.
The core proposal detailing the problem of access (40-50 km distance), the dual solution (MHUs & Dispensaries), the 21-month timeline, the total ₹1 Crore budget breakdown (including ₹50 Lakh for 10 MHUs), and alignment with SDGs 3 & 10.
