Vocational Training
This initiative aims to address unemployment by generating self-employment in rural areas through comprehensive, quality training programs. The training is provided free of cost to rural youth, with a notable statistic that 60% of candidates trained belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. The programs include following up with trained candidates to help them launch profitable micro-enterprises (with or without credit linkage) and secure wage employment in their skill areas. The training duration ranges from 20 to 30 days (180 to 200 hours), focused on vocations based on locally prevalent trends and demand.
