Conflict of Interest
How we identify, disclose, and manage conflicts to protect program integrity and donor trust.

1. Purpose
This policy ensures that board members, staff, consultants, and volunteers of FSH Foundation India act in the organization’s best interest and disclose any personal, financial, or institutional conflict that could influence decisions.
2. What Counts as a Conflict
- Financial interest in a vendor, partner, or grantee under consideration
- Family or close personal relationships affecting hiring, procurement, or grant decisions
- Outside employment or board roles that compete with foundation duties
- Gifts or hospitality that could influence judgment
3. Disclosure & Recusal
Covered persons must disclose conflicts promptly in writing. Where a conflict exists, the individual must recuse from related discussion and voting. Disclosures are recorded in meeting minutes and maintained by the compliance desk.
4. Enforcement
Undisclosed conflicts may lead to corrective action, including removal from decision roles. Questions may be directed to our governance team via the Contact page.
