1. Policy Statement
Fulminare Social Help Foundation (FSH Foundation India) operates under a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, exploitation, harassment, and neglect. We are dedicated to ensuring that our staff, field volunteers, contractors, and institutional partners act responsibly to protect all children, vulnerable adults, and animals involved in or affected by our activities.
2. Scope of Application
This policy applies globally to all individuals representing FSH Foundation India, including:
- Full-time governing body members, executive staff, and regional managers.
- Field personnel, paramedics, digital school facilitators, and animal handlers.
- Volunteers, interns, and academic researchers conducting field studies in partner villages.
3. Code of Conduct
All representatives must adhere to the following directives:
- Respect & Dignity: Treat all community members, especially women, children, and marginalized households, with maximum dignity.
- Humane Treatment of Animals: Ensure stray, distressed, or rehabbed animals are handled with appropriate care and medical priority, avoiding unnecessary distress.
- Professional Boundaries: Maintain strict professional boundaries. No representative may engage in exploitative behavior or request favors in exchange for program benefits.
- Consent for Media: Photographs or videos of children and beneficiaries must only be captured with written, explicit guardian consent, ensuring their identity and location are protected.
4. Reporting Protocols
We maintain independent, safe, and confidential reporting channels for safeguarding incidents:
- Any beneficiary, community member, or employee who witnesses or suspects a violation of this policy should immediately report the matter to our safeguarding desk.
- Reports can be submitted anonymously through the Grievance Desk or via direct email to safeguarding@fshfoundation.org.
- We commit to launching a formal investigation within 48 hours of report receipt and applying strict disciplinary measures, including contract termination or legal prosecution.
